It is important that the nurse should assess the patient for Suicidal ideations.

Suicidal ideations are also known as suicidal tendencies or suicidal thoughts. This is a person thinking of killing himself and planning of committing suicide. Being depressed and other mental disorders is a risk of having Suicidal ideations.
