Women in the nineteenth century could not vote, so why did stowe make a point of addressing mothers?

Even though women were not allowed to vote in the 19th Century, Stowe made it a point to address mothers.

This is because, Stowe believed that mothers have a powerful influence on the household and their children and she could inspire the mothers of this generation, she would have passed on the values on to the coming generations of the country.
