2x+4y=6
4y = -2x + 6
y = -1/2(x) + 3/2 so slope = -1/2
perpendicular lines, slope is opposite and reciprocal so slope = 2
passes through the point (6,4)
y - 4 = 2(x - 6)
y - 4 = 2x - 12
y = 2x - 8

answer
equation
y = 2x - 8

2x+4y=6
x+2y=3
2y=-x+3
y=-1/2(x)+3/2
for perpendicular line slope is negative reciprocal , slope so =2
y=2x+b
4=2*6+b
4=12+b
b=4-12=-8
y=2x-8
