The TVA was one of the many "ABC" Organizations created during the Depression. The TVA was designed to not only bring work to the Tennessee Valley, but also help update and modernize the area. There would flood controls created along with bringing in electricity to the region. Other economic developments would be brought in to the region to help the people.
