Perimeter of the quarter circle = [tex]2 \pi r+r+r[/tex]

[tex]2 \pi r+r+r[/tex] = 17.65km

[tex]2 \pi r+2r[/tex] = 17.65

[tex]2r( \pi +1)[/tex] = 17.65

[tex]2r(4.14)[/tex] = 17.65

[tex] 2r[/tex] = 17.65 ÷ 4.14

2r = 4.263

r = 2.13 (nearest hundredth)
