Perimeter of the quarter circle = [tex]2 \pi r+r+r[/tex]
[tex]2 \pi r+r+r[/tex] = 17.65km
[tex]2 \pi r+2r[/tex] = 17.65
[tex]2r( \pi +1)[/tex] = 17.65
[tex]2r(4.14)[/tex] = 17.65
[tex] 2r[/tex] = 17.65 ÷ 4.14
2r = 4.263
r = 2.13 (nearest hundredth)
