Let m = the number of member tickets.
Let n = number of nonmember tickets.
Let c = total cost

m number of member tickets cost 10m.
n number of nonmember tickets cost 24n.

The total cost is the sum of the two expressions.

c = 10m + 24n

Now we replace m w2 and n with 4, and we evaluate the expression.

c = 10m + 24n

c = 10(2) + 24(4)

c = 20 + 96

c = 116

Answer: The total cost is $116
