[tex] \frac{4}{5} - \frac{3}{4} [/tex]

[tex]= \frac{4}{5} + \frac{-3}{4} [/tex]

[tex]= \frac{16}{20} + \frac{-15}{20} [/tex]

[tex]= \frac{16+-15}{20} [/tex]

[tex]= \frac{1}{20} [/tex] is your final answer.

Well first you have to find a common denominator. 5 and four, their least common denominator is 20 so make the denominator 20.

4/5 = 16/20

3/4 = 15/20

16/20 - 15/20 = 1/20
