[tex] \frac{-x}{2} +\frac{3}{2} < \frac{5}{2} [/tex]

to solve the inequality, we have to isolate x

So

subtract [tex] \frac{3}{2} [/tex] from both sides

[tex] \frac{-x}{2} < \frac{5}{2} -\frac{3}{2} [/tex]

[tex] \frac{-x}{2} < \frac{2}{2} [/tex]

Multiply both sides by 2

[tex] -x<2 [/tex]

Multiply both sides by -1 , to make x positive , it will flip the inequality sign

[tex] x>-2 [/tex]
