Fort Snelling was an armed protection
situated at the meeting of Minnesota and Mississippi Rivers in Hennepin County,
Minnesota. This was described as Measles and other diseases spread.
Also, Dakota who went outside the camp to hunt/fish were often attacked or
killed.
