Betty Friedan was a American writer, activist, and feminist . She was a leading figure in the women’s movement in the US , the book she wrote was called “The Feminine Mystique” and her contribution to society is that she created the second wave of American feminism by her writing; co-founded the National Organization for Women and aided in the founding the National Association.
