You toss a coin and randomly select a number from 0 to 9. What is the probability of getting tails and selecting a 3?

THese 2 events are independent so individual probabilities are multiplied.

P(tail) = 1/2  and P(3) = 3/10

Required probability = 1/2 * 3/10  = 3/20  Answer
