How do you think the size of the Ottoman empire contributed to its decline?

I think its size greatly effected its decline. This is because they kept Imperializing and taking over other countries. Every time they did this, the people of those countries got angry and wanted to stop. But they weren't able to do this until WWI. So, the fact that their country got about the size of the Arabian Peninsula angered people and cause their fall to happen earlier than they (the Ottomans) expected.
