Because the two opposite sides (marked by one tick each) are congruent, we know that and k and the other angle must be equal.

Subtract 56 from 180 to find the remaining angles.

180-56 = 124

Because the two bottom angles are the same, simply divide 124 by 2 to find the measure of K.

124/2 = 62

ANSWER:m of angle k is 62 degrees
