Hi there! To find the slope of the line, you do y2 - y1 / x2 - x1. That means you subtract the first y-coordinate from the second y-coordinate and the first x-coordinate from the second x-coordinate. Plug in the values in order to get 6 - 8 / 4 - 8. When you do that, you get -2/-4 or simply 1/2 when simplified. The slope of the line that goes through those points is 1/2.
