Let the two consecutive even numbers be 'A' and 'B' (A being the lesser and B the larger)

Based on the question, A + B = 4A - 22  (1)
since B is a consecutive even number to A, then  B = A + 2  (2)

By substituting (2) into (1),
   A + (A + 2) = 4A - 22
   2A + 2 = 4A - 22
   2 + 22 = 2A
            A = 12

Now, if A = 12,
   then B = 14

∴ the two integers are 12 and 14.
