The general chemical formula of a monosaccharide can be written as:

(CH2O)x

where x is the number of carbon or oxygen atoms

We can actually see that each carbon or oxygen atom requires 2 hydrogen atoms, therefore for a compound with 11 oxygen atoms, there would be:

22 Hydrogen atoms
