g(x) = -5x + 2.....g(-2)...basically means sub in -2 for x
g(-2) = -5(-2) + 2
g(-2) = 10 + 2
g(-2) = 12 <===

For this one:

Put x= -2 into the function g(x)

[tex]g(-2)=-5(-2)+2=10+2=12[/tex]
