simply divide the speed of light by 1000 to get klm/sec
next divide the klm/sec by 1.6 to get miles/sec.
next multiply miles/sec by 60 to get miles per minute

= 11,242,500 miles/min
= 11,240,000 miles/min (with significant figures)
