During the investigation towards world.com, the government offer some reduction of punishment to a man named Scott D. Sullivan (who had one of the  leading role in tax accounting fraud) so that he could cooperate and gave up all of the names that is involved in the fraud. Without this deal, Scott.D Sullivan may have to go into prison for life.
