The square root of a number is the number that when you multiply it by its self two times, you get your original number. The cube root is the number when you multiply it by its self three times, you get your original number. For example, the square root of 25 is , because 5*5=25. The cube root of 64 is 4 because 4*4*4=64. Hope this helps!
