To solve the equation we follow these steps:

12(4x−5)+52=10

i) subtract 52 from both sides:

12(4x−5)+52=10

12(4x−5)+52-52=10-52

12(4x−5)=-42

ii) divide both sides by 12:

     (4x-5)=-42/12

        4x-5= -3.5

iii) add 5 to both sides:

        4x= 1.5

iv) divide both sides by 4

          x=1.5 / 4 = 0.375

Answer: 0.375
