The two cultures which have blended together to create the Mexican culture are the Spanish and Indian (Indigenous peoples of what is modern-day Mexico). This includes the language and religion of Mexico (the main ones), which are Spanish and Christianity, heavily influenced by the Spanish. Some Mexican holidays have been influenced by indigenous folklore and tradition.
