8.2, because the negative on the outside of the parenthesis cancels out the negative inside of the parenthesis.

- (-8.2).....if u didn't already know, if u have a sign next to the parenthesis, there is a constant of 1...it is not written but it is understood.

so if it helps, look at ur problem like this..
-1(-8.2).....and remember, a neg. times a neg. equals a positive

so ur answer is simply : 8.2
