above  is the distance formula, plugging your numbers from P(x1,y1) and Q(x2,y2).

[tex]Dist = \sqrt{(50-(-3))^{2} + (-2-(-25))^{2} } [/tex]
or[tex] \sqrt{ 53^{2} + 23 ^{2} } [/tex]
