3(2x+4)=-6
Use distributive property
6x+12=-6
Subtract 12 for both side
6x=-18
Divided 6 for both side
x=-3. As a result, A is the final answer. Hope it help!

remember you can do antyhing to an equation as lnog asyou do it to both sides

divide both sides by 3
2x+4=-2
minus 4 both sides
2x=-6
divide by 2
x=-3
