What is the equation of the line perpendicular to 2x − 7y = −42 that contains the point (6, −3)?

Hello:
the equation is : y = ax+b
the slope is a : a×(2/7) = -1......( perpendicular to a line with a slope of   2/7)            because :     2x-7y =-42...y=(2/7)x+6    )     


a = -7/2         y=(-7/2)x+b
the line that passes through (6, -3) :- 3 = (-7/2)(6)+b
b =18
 the equation is :  y  = (-7/2)x+18
