First you find the area of the base. area is equal to pi*radius^2. You only know what the diameter is. D=2r. So that means the radius is 1.5. 1.5^2*3.14 is 7.065. That is the area of the base. The volume of a cylinder is area times height so 6*7.065 is 42.93. 42.93 meters cubed is the answer.
