Irrational because any number that has pi in it is always irrational no matter what

It is irrational.  By definition a rational number can be expressed as a fraction a/b where both a and b are integers.

pi has no repeating patterns in its decimal form (millions of digits deep and no one or thing has found a pattern yet) and therefore cannot be expressed as a ratio of integers.
