It is given that, a = b - 6
6a = 2b + 12
3a = b + 6

Substitute the value of a,
3(b - 6) = b + 6
3b - 18 = b + 6
3b - b = 6 + 18
2b = 24
b = 12

Then, a = b-6 = 12-6 = 6

In short, The Numbers would be: 6 & 12

Hope this helps!
