If I buy a pair of $45 dollar jeans and I get a 15% percent discount but I have to pay a 6% sales a tax how much are the jeans going to be

$45 x .15 = $6.75 discount
$45 - $6.75= $38.25

Sales tax 6%
$38.25 x 0.6 =$ 2.29
$38.25 + $2.29 = 40.54$

Jeans total is 40.54$
