I would say that the biggest problem is that Adult stem cells already have a determined cell type and can't be changed into tissues that are not from the ones that they came from. The problem with that is that it limits the cells by making them unable to be used in procedures that don't include the same type of tissue that the stem cell came from. Hope this helps!
