2x + 7y = 4   (1)
-4x -3y = 14  (2)
=> 4x +14y = 8
      -4x -3y = 14
=> 11y = 22 => y = 2
Subtitute y into the equation (1)
2x + 14 = 4
=> x = -5
So {x;y} = { -5;2 }
