2×+y=0, ×-y=6 what is the solution to this system of equations?

2×+y=0,
×-y=6

Add the 1st to the 2nd equation==> 3x +y-y=6+0==> 3x=6 & x=2

Plug 2 into any of the equation & you will get y=-4
