To find z all you have to do is get the variable (z) alone. so 1/6= z - 7/12 Now we add 7/12 to both sides to cancel the negative 7/12 n the side with the variable. Now we have 3/4 = z So z is 3/4. hope that helps! if you don't get the process i can try to re explain it :)
