Explain how a parasite is harmful to its host. Provide an example in your explanation.

Answer: A parasite benefits from its host by taking nutrients from the affected person or animal.The host does not benefit from a parasite in any way. A tape worm for example, may cause nervous system damage to the hosts body, seizures and more.
