well having to split 1200 cards between 4 people is simple, just devide 1200 by 4 which would be 300 cards
so each person will receive 300 cards

Since you have 4 people in total wanting to share the cards, you would do the total amount of cards and divide it by 4. So you would do 1,200 divided by 4. Which is 300., so each person will get 300 cards.
