Galileo Galilei was a famous Italian scientist and scholar. He discovered the rings of Saturn and many more. Galilei played a major role in scientific revolution of the seventeenth century. Galileo was born on February 15 1564 in Pisa, Italy. He went to the University of Pisa for education from 1581 to 1585. Galileo died on January 8 1642 from a terrible fever and heart palpitations.
