The main issue was fixing the AOC. They wanted to fix the AOC, but it was so bad they ended up rewriting it sltogether, hence creating the constitution. The great compromise was about the representation of slavery and taxes.
In the end, the two sides agreed that 3/5 states would be counted for representation in the house and for taxes
