The equation would be y=3x-6.5

I think this is right.
We know, principle equation of line: y= mx + b
Here, m = 3

Calculate the value of b:
-0.5 = 3*2 + b
b = -0.5-6
b = -6.5

Now, substitute their values into the expression:
y = 3x - 6.5
