It simply asks you to convert 6.3 km to meters.
There are 1000 km in 1 meter.
So for 6.3 km, there are 6.3km * 1000 = 6300 m.

You can also use the factor label method.
[tex] \frac{6.3km}{1m} * \frac{1000m}{1km} =6300m[/tex]
