Depending on amount added, Anhydrous CaCl₂ when dissolved in water solvent can become hot enough to blister ones skin when touched. On the cold side, Ammonium Nitrate will cool an aqueous solution enough to generate condensate frost on the outside of a glass beaker. I'm sure there are more examples but these two came to mind.
