F(-5)=6x-3

F(-5)=6(-5)-3

F(-5)=-30-3

= +33

When asking for f(-5) or any other number, they are asking you to plug in that number for x.

So, f(-5) = 6(-5) - 3
f(-5) = -30 - 3
