Ted Hughes' 'The Wind' uses lots of strong imagery and through its continuous personification of the wind being alive we become more disturbed by the nature of the storm in the poem. This poem appears to be a description of the violence of the natural world and its relationship with humans. In other words, Humans treat nature unfairly.
