Present Participle
Is used when we want to express an active action. We add -ing to the infinitive of the verb.
Examples:
He is reading a book.
Reading books is fun.
Look at the reading boy.
I saw him reading.
Past Participle
Is used when we want to express a passive action.
Examples:
Having read the book the boy came out of the room.
