0.78 is how much she spent on 3 ounces of candy since 1 pound is 16 ounces I divided the value 4.16 by 16 which gave me 0.26 and I multiplied that by 3 and that’s how I got my answer.
Or simply 4.16/16=0.26*3=0.78
