Number of electrons differ from one elements to other elements .means that each elements have different numbers of electrons

for ex Hydrogen has only one electron whereas helium has 2 electrons

Number of electrons = Atomic number

Atomic number of an element tells the no. of electrons in it.

For ex

Hydrogen ( atomic no. 1 ) ---- 1 electron

helium ( atomic no 2 ) ---- 2 electron

Lithium (atomic no.3 ) ---- 3 electron
