2 consecutive integers : x and x + 1

8(x + 1) - 2(x) = 236...distribute thru the parenthesis
8x + 8 - 2x = 236....simplify
6x + 8 = 236...subtract 8 from both sides
6x = 236 - 8
6x = 228 ...divide both sides by 6
x = 228/6
x = 38

x + 1 = 38 + 1 = 39

ur 2 integers are : 38 and 39
