The scale of dilation is the number that you multiply one side of the original triangle to get its corresponding side on the new triangle. In this case, it can be seen that AB corresponds to A'B', and so you divide A'B' by AB (6 divided by 4) to find that the scale factor is 6/4, or 3/2. If you do this with any of the other sides you will get the same answer.
