Asia is bordered on the north by the Arctic Ocean, on the east by the Pacific Ocean, on the south by the Indian Ocean, on the southwest by the Red Sea (as well as the Atlantic Ocean's inland seas—the Mediterranean and the Black) and on the west by Europe.
