How does water get to the leaves in the tops of the tallest trees against the force of gravity

the same way water climbs up a paper towel. the pores of the tree carry the water upward.

the roots of the bottom of the tree, soak up all necessary nutrients and water and then deliver it to the leaves. Hope this helped.
